Emily is a Louisville, Kentucky native and Ballard High School Alum. She received her Bachelors of Science from the University of Louisville, and her law degree from Salmon P. Chase Law School. Emily has written opinions for both federal and state court judges and practiced law with an emphasis in Estate Planning & Small Business Planning for many years prior to joining Hargrove Firm.
Emily has a strong passion for helping others, which is highlighted by her involvement in both her local church, and many non-profits in the area. Her husband, Matthew Moore, serves as a Deacon at Southeast Christian Church where they both lead discipleship groups. Emily and Matthew started a non-profit last year focusing on discipling people into more intimate relationship with Jesus through worship. She has served on the Board and Committees of Youth for Christ, BSideU4Life, Oldham County Community Foundation, and was most recently as part of the founding Board of Clay & Oak. Emily is a past Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters, and mentor and leader to high school youth at her church. Emily and Matthew reside in LaGrange with their two sons, Harry and Charlie.
