In her role as advanced planning attorney, Erica brings a decade of valuable experience in private practice to Hargrove Firm and its clients. Erica’s extensive knowledge on a range of legal issues–from estate planning and probate/trust administration to civil litigation–allows her to simplify the legal process and create thorough plans for her clients that leave them with peace of mind.
Erica began her legal career as a law clerk to a circuit court judge in Lexington, South Carolina. She then joined a private firm representing businesses and entities in civil litigation matters. Through her practice, Erica grew her expertise to represent individuals and businesses in estate planning, real estate transactions, probate and trust administration, contract negotiations, and business succession planning. In the most recent years of her practice, she has focused on representing clients in estate and business planning. Erica earned her Bachelors in English and Philosophy from the University of South Carolina and her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law. Erica enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters in the South Carolina Lowcountry.
