Lorne Book has been making estate planning easy for families over the past decade. Using his gifts of storytelling and illustration as teaching tools, Lorne helps clients to understand the complexities of planning for the future.
Lorne served as an associate attorney at Woods, May & Matlock from 2011 to 2013, followed by a role as partner at Pratt Book PLLC. In 2013, he established his own practice, Book Law Firm, where he focused on delivering modern estate planning, probate, and small business legal solutions.
For his efforts with Book Law Firm, Lorne was honored as a Texas Super Lawyers “Rising Star.” He is a regular speaker on various estate planning topics within the Dallas/Fort Worth area and is a deacon and teacher at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas. Lorne and his wonderful wife, Kym, along with their four children, Roman, Shepherd, Judah, and Chapel, are dedicated members of their church community.
Lorne earned both a Bachelor of the Arts in Political Science and a Master of Arts in Political Science from Arkansas State University. He then earned his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston, in 2011.
