With over a decade of experience in estate planning, business law, and wealth management, Nate provides clients with comprehensive strategies that align legal structures with financial goals. His dual perspective allows him to simplify complex issues and deliver tailored solutions that protect families, businesses, and legacies.
Prior to joining Hargrove Firm, Nate built a successful law practice at Pathway Legal, where he advised individuals, families, and business owners on estate planning, probate, and business law. In addition to his legal practice, Nate has worked extensively as a financial advisor with Allegis Financial Partners and Northwestern Mutual, where he developed integrated wealth management and succession planning strategies for high-net-worth clients. Earlier in his career, he gained valuable legal experience at firms including Snell & Wilmer and Sloan & Sloan, and also served in senior risk and compliance roles at Wells Fargo supporting estate services and trust administration. His diverse background equips him to approach client needs from both a legal and financial perspective, offering holistic guidance to help them achieve their long-term planning goals.
Nate earned his Bachelor of Arts in English from Weber State University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Oregon School of Law. He is a member of the Utah State Bar Association and is based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Nate enjoys spending time outdoors with his family doing anything and everything from hiking, backpacking, fishing, mountain biking, and waterskiing. He also loves supporting his kids in their activities and is often volunteering as a coach or support for his kids’ soccer, mountain biking, and other teams.
